a photo request from the new yorker magazine for a story about two young immigrants in love....taken from a shoot i did up in topanga with two wonderful models, lilly boughtwood and casey larios. topanga is one of my favorite places to shoot. there aren't many walls around the homes up there. openness abounds.

old shot, new inspiration-a response to a new yorker fiction request for a 1920's scene with a young girl. i love combining the modern color with the old black and white print i made years ago.
