every time i turn around i find out another friend of mine is pregnant! so, i've picked up crocheting baby blankets and i'm in bliss.

ode to my life

aline smithson says sometimes the best images/material are right under your nose. i finally have my white table portrait set up so i can pull things easily from my life and document them. i've been wanting to do more compositing, so this is a stab. i'm ready for a killer photoshop class. any suggestions in the l.a. area?

a beautiful terry gross interview with this years pulitzer prize winner for poetry, w.s. merwin. i was listening to this as i was organizing and finding old photographs. it was a poignant touch to a sometimes difficult process.
