new portraits

i've been setting up a small studio at home. luvin it! i'm spending hours at home depot exploring flooring solutions, backdrops, etc. this is a simple portrait using lighting that i love, but am usually too lazy to set up.

venice portraits

i keep on coming back to this process. i'm really loving it. these were taken from some portraits i did in venice beach on july 4th. the photos themselves are just o.k., but i love the action and form that takes place....

love the light

spent a great day with finley in topanga painting blocks. at the end of our visit the light came into the small studio and answered any questions i had abou the process ...made me think of some beautiful 20's/30's still life shots i've seen of old typewriters, etc...
