getting back to a shoot i did with marianne, vu, nina and jonathan in november. i'm compositing with a shot from my hawaii trip. fun to combine contrasting worlds. i think i want to add some words...

my couisin becky, also known as homeky becky, invited us to come down and bake holiday cookies. my kids, needless to say, are ready to move in.

every year in december, marina del rey hosts a boat parade complete with a fireworks show to help bring on the festivities. a lovely show from my living room.

this is a great little structure that our neighbor, anais, painted and gave to my kids. i added the blocks for a stock concept. the funny thing is, this past year we've been adding a lot of color to our place and almost every room is a different color.

start from scratch

spent time with my son's preschool class the other day, painting rocks for the holidays. it was so satisfying, i did more on my own later that night and threw in some type which i love. hope to incorporate more words with images and have been thinking about creating more books, either through i photo, self made, etc.
