lilly's stocking

this is way too early, but i shot this for my friend liza samala who is starting a new magazine for kids called "kids la". my daughter, lilly, is standing on our brand new piano bench that was designed by ilan dei.

i am not creating today, but i am clearing clearing clearing and unearthing some great images i think i'll use in future composites. this i created yesterday and gave to my friend ann for her birthday. i love breaking everything down into shapes and colors.

so i got the maggie taylor photoshop book yesterday (thanks jacqueline!). of course loved her use of layers, collage, etc...got up at 3:30 a.m. with creative insomnia and worked till 5:30. i can't wait to do more!

a new scale

why this sudden interest in miniatures? just loving the ability to set the stage with small objects and creatures. i want to translate this into my people and fashion work....
